On January 3rd, 1990 I interviewed Chas Smith for the second issue of my zine Ragnarok. My focus was on Cle music scene history: Chas's time in The Clocks, The Pagans, and Venus Envy. A lot of his life is woven into it (he starts by talking about his childhood in Wickliffe) and eventually leads to his time at CSU doing composing and Brainrot Radio Theater.

Chas passed away on October 16th, 2007.

The interview is just under two hours long.
